Ferry Corsten was born in Rotterdam, Netherlands on the 4th of December 1973. For over 20 years, Ferry has been DJing, producing and remixing. He is one of the most respected trance artists who writes and produces his own tracks completely with no ghost composers. Ferry released his first record at the tender age of 16. He started with a keyboard and began selling mix tapes to kids in his neighbourhood.

Ferry rose to fame when he released his Album, Out of the Blue under the System F alias. The title track became an instant electronic dance track, gaining Ferry massive recognition. His collaboration with Tiesto to form Gouryella have churned out some amazing classic trance tracks. He also teamed up with Vincent de Moor to form Veracocha and together they produced one of the most amazing trance anthems ever created, Carte Blanche.

Corsten’s Countdown is Ferry’s interactive radio show, which he launched in 2007 and is currently available in over 35 countries nationwide such as Digitally Imported (DI.fm), Sirius XM Radio and 27 leading radio stations in The Netherlands, Brazil, UK, Australia, Argentina and the Philippines, to name a few.

Flashover Recordings was started by Ferry in 2005. The label has 4 sub-labels and has artists such as Breakfast, Tritonal, Rafael Frost and Lemon & Einar K.

Beyond being a DJ and producer, Ferry is a prominent figure on social media websites. With a massive following on Facebook, Twitter and with millions of YouTube views, Ferry knows the importance of using social media to connect with fans. He also has helped create some amazing apps and games for smartphones.
