Currently in its 7th year, Tomorrowland has grown from being a relatively small festival in Blegium, originally opening with 10,000 party-goers, and has now turned into one of the biggest festivals on the planet with more than 120,000 party-goers attending the massive festival from all over the globe last year.
The festival itself has won many awards included being voted “Best European Festival”, “Best Belgian Summer Festival” as well as being nominaed for “Best Global Festival” at this years IDMAs (International Dance Music Awards). After watching the video, it’s not hard to see why! Awesome production, massive line ups and amazing scenery make for the perfect setting for such an event.
This years lineup features artists such as Aly & Fila, Ferry Corsten, Simon Patterson, Sied Van Riel, tyDi (go Aussies whoo!), Arnej, Orjan Nilsen, Fedde Le Grand, Swedish House Mafia and many more!
Tomorrowland will take place on Friday the 22nd, Saturday the 23rd and Sunday the 24th of July 2011, with the festival ground fully opened on all three days. The camping ground will already be opened on Thursday 21 July in the morning and a few hours later the warming up camping party will open the festivities in the afternoon. For pricing and opening/closing times, see the official press release here.
Wish we got things like this in Australia! Makes me miss summer and festivals in general!
